This module aims to enable you to undertake a research project and write a dissertation at Master’s level. It allows you to develop research skills in managing the research processes including how to answer a research question, selection of appropriate methodology and methods, application of the role of values and ethics in the research process, and the development of critical skills in the evaluation and synthesis of research knowledge. It will also develop your application of the implications of research evidence for public health theory and practice. Your specialisation will determine the topic of your dissertation.

Fees
If you are based in the UK or the EU, you may be eligible for a government postgraduate loan to cover the full course fees.
Keele alumni discount: if you have successfully completed an undergraduate degree at Keele, you are eligible for a 10% tuition fees reduction, reducing total fees payable to £1,620.00.
You pay tuition fees for each module taken, either module-by-module or in full at the start of your course.
